Information we process

Product links entered into the deal finder are processed in your browser to identify a retailer. Do not paste links containing private access tokens or account information.

If you contact us by email, we receive your email address and the information you include so we can reply.

Email alerts

When you sign up, Slashr records your email address, chosen categories, consent time and subscription status. A confirmation email is sent before alerts activate. Every alert includes an unsubscribe link. When you unsubscribe, the active email address and category choices are removed from the alert record.

Lawful bases

Promotional email alerts rely on your consent, which you may withdraw at any time. We process enquiries where necessary to respond and operate the service.

Cookies and local storage

The website does not use advertising or analytics cookies. Essential hosting technology and security logs may be used to deliver and protect it.

Service providers and international transfers

Netlify hosts the website and stores alert records. Resend sends confirmation and alert emails. These providers may process technical or contact data under their own security and data-transfer arrangements.

How long we keep information

Active alert data is kept while you remain subscribed. Pending unconfirmed records and suppression information are retained only as reasonably needed to operate the service and respect unsubscribe choices. Enquiries are kept only as long as reasonably needed.

Your UK GDPR rights

Depending on the circumstances, you may ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection or a portable copy of your personal data. You may withdraw consent at any time. Contact deals@slashr.co.uk.
